Dear Frenemies (a poem)

 


Dear Frenemies, 
I finally forgive you, 
But you no longer have power over me. 
I broke the strings, I unlocked the chains. 
Unlike Wendy Darling, 
I learned how to fly on my own. 
You can still haunt the past, 
But I decide to have the courage to take a different path.
