The Hate Bandwagon (a poem)

 

Someone makes one mistake; 
Let's not ever forgive that evil snake! 
A person disagrees with us; 
Let's make them drink antifreeze
until they're sick, dying;  
admitting that they're wrong, admitting that they're lying!    
We don't care who's guilty or who's innocent, 
All we care about is our hate!

With our torches, pitchforks, and fraudulent receipts in hand, 
our hate bandwagon rolls on,
searching for any perceived sins; 
even turning on our friends. 

We howl our vile hate, 
as we go on our horror crusade. 
More and more people join us blindly and hop on the wagon 
just to blend into the crowd. 
Here we come, 
the unruly mob, 
the bully parade!

Why...Just Why???

 

Why does life throw a curve ball when I get too comfortable lately? My mom is getting surgery tomorrow on her left eye to repair a retina detachment. It's a common surgery and she had it done before on her right eye but I'm still nervous. The recovery time will also be 2 or 3 weeks, which won't be fun for her or me. I have to breathe though. Think happy thoughts and be brave for Mommio.

It's Official...the Shane Dawson Fandom Is In a Parallel Universe

 

We are in a parallel universe now. 

Trisha Paytas is having some weird midlife crisis, hating on Shane Dawson and Ryland Adams on social media. 

THEY WERE FRIENDS FOR 12 YEARS! It's okay if she's mad at Shane right now but FOR HER TO TALK ABOUT SHANE AND RYLAND LIKE THEY'RE TRASH IS BEYOND WRONG! She's just hopping on the hate bandwagon to seem cool.

I still love, watch, and support Shane (he's a good person, NOT EVIL AT ALL ) but I think that Jeffree Star brainwashed him somehow (sort of like a Stockholm syndrome/blackmailing situation) to make Shane stick by him. 

The Stockholm syndrome/blackmailing thing is just my personal theory, not fact.  I'm just worried. I care about Shane and I don't trust Jeffree. I've noticed that Shane refuses to distance himself from Jeffree, despite of the "cancellations," even when they revolve around Jeffree and Shane conveniently gets dragged unknowingly into them too.  

Now, Shane is hurting. He lost his best friend of 12 years. I want to hug him, I want to protect him at all costs. 

It's been a rough week for Shane and the Shane fandom so I made a fan spotify playlist for Shane and for my fellow fans to try to cheer everyone up.

I know what's happening to Shane is heartbreaking but we have to try to think Tink and not spread hate. If I ripped Trisha's throat out or fed Jeffree to a crocodile, what would that do? Nothing. We just have to be there for Shane.

Dear Shane Dawson, 

Did Jeffree Star put you under a trance? This isn't you, you're a kind person! The Shane that I know and love wouldn't let business, or gossip, or fear of reprisals get in the way of how you truly feel. I know that you want to see the good in Jeffree but he's shady. He didn't help you enough when you got "canceled." Hell, he's part of reason why you got "canceled" in the first place! Please, PLEASE, Baby Boy, remember who you are. Do I have to sacrifice my Dawson bear in a fire, while Sabrina Spellman cast a counter-spell on you to reverse this trance? Because I will, lol. I won't let you go without a fight! I love you so damn much Shane! I'm not telling you who you can be friends with (you're thirty-two years old, you can be friends with whoever) but think. Is sticking by Jeffree healthy or dysfunctional?

I ❤ My Family

 

I love spending time with my family. Last night, my mom, my sister Amanda, my aunt Kathy, my cousin Tammy, and I had a sleepover at Tammy's house. We laughed, cried, acted silly, drank, and played Cards Against Humanity. It's been a while since we laughed so it felt good. It gave me a sense of normalcy. 😁

LGBTQ+ Meanings

 

Homosexuality is romantic attraction, sexual attraction, or sexual behavior between members of the same sex or gender. As a sexual orientation, homosexuality is "an enduring pattern of emotional, romantic, and/or sexual attractions" to people of the same sex. 

Bi-sexuality is romantic attraction, sexual attraction, or sexual behavior toward both males and females, or to more than one sex or gender.   

Non-binary or genderqueer is a spectrum of gender identities that are not exclusively masculine or feminine. 

Queer is a word that describes sexual and gender identities other than straight and cisgender. Lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people may all identify with the word queer. Queer is sometimes used to express that sexuality and gender can be complicated, change over time, and might not fit neatly into either/or identities, like male or female, gay or straight.  

Pan-sexuality is sexual, romantic or emotional attraction towards people regardless of their sex or gender identity. Pansexual people may refer to themselves as gender-blind, asserting that gender and sex are not determining factors in their romantic or sexual attraction to others.  

A-sexuality is the lack of sexual attraction to others, or low or absent interest in or desire for sexual activity. 

Everybody is different. It's okay if you don't completely understand but sexual orientations are not weird.
