My Sissy Is Pregnant!!!

Amanda is pregnant, YAY!!! I'm going to be an aunt. She took 3 tests and all said positive, but she went to the doctor to just confirm and tell her the due date, which is in the end of August or the beginning of September. We're very, very, very excited for the bundle of joy.

New Online Class

On StoryWrite.com, I’ve finished the Editing and Proofreading class and now I’m taking the Poetic Prose (How to Make Your Narratives Sing) class. We’re learning to understand poetic prose and how to write better narratives. It’s very interesting. There’s a lot of analyzing and critical thinking involved. I’ll admit that it’s a challenging class, but I like it. I’m learning about different writing styles and structures.

Happy Birthday Steven!

Looking in the sky,
I smile and remember;
I laugh and recall.
Not too long ago,
you were here,
Telling me jokes,
Being on my side,
when no one was there.
You were my friend;
the piece of my heart,
my everything.
Now, you’re watching over me,
Now, you’re the angel dancing upon the stars;
the angel drinking from the Milky Way.
Even though you flew away,
My love for you still lives on;
your memory will always be here to stay.

I wrote this poem called "Angel Upon the Stars" especially for my friend Steven Zaitz, who passed away 3 years ago. Today is his birthday. Every year since his passing, I post this poem on my blog to remember my awesome friend. Happy birthday Stevie Wevie! I love you and always will.

Editing and Proofreading class at StoryWrite

For about a month now, I've been taking a free online writing class at StoryWrite.com . It's a class for editing and proofreading, and I'm working on my spelling and grammar. I'm learning a lot. It's taught by a fellow Story-Write member named Chryssi (Token Massacre), and she's a good teacher. I have a 'B' in the class right now, but I'm getting better. I'm happy that I'm taking this class.

Dear Frenemies (a poem)

  Dear Frenemies,  I finally forgive you,  But you no longer have power over me.  I broke the strings, I unlocked the chains.  Unlike Wendy ...
