God, 

Thank you for the ability to pause in a chaotic world. When everything rushes, demands, and overwhelms, You remind me I can stop, I can breathe, I can rest. In that pause, I find You. 

Please help those who can't find peace. Embrace them and show them that they're loved.

God, 

Thank you for giving me self-reliance and independence. I'm limited physically, but there are a lot of things I can do on my own. I like to pretend I'm a princess, but I try not to act helpless or entitled. Also, thank you for giving me the strength to ask for help when I truly need it. 

Please watch over those who feel completely helpless. Let them know they aren't a burden, and they're seen.

God, 

Thank you for my mommio. She's always there to support me. She takes awesome care of me. Even though we don't always see eye to eye, I love her so much.  Let her have a happy birthday.

Please watch over those who don't have close family or a support system. Let them know they're not alone.

God, 

How are You? Has anyone asked You that question before? Anyway, I'm alright. Thank you for my body and its strong immune system. Even though I get frustrated with my body sometimes, due to my cerebral palsy, I still know it's working the way it's meant to. Please give me patience today. I either have bad allergies or a cold as I'm writing this, but please help me not to snap at people while my body is fighting it off. 

Also, please assist those who are suffering from serious illnesses and diseases. Give them hope and strength.

Thank you for letting me know it's okay to relax today. My allergies are acting up today. It's usually difficult for me to take it easy, but right now, I'm calm. I'm guessing that's You're doing.

God, 

Thank you for safety. Thank you for keeping my family, friends, and me away from danger. I watch the news, and the world can be a scary place. Thank you for the shelter and protection. No matter what, I know You're there. 

Please help and protect those lives that are threatened (in protests, ICE arrests, war zones, and careless shootings). Embrace and shield them.

God, 

Thank you for the precious time with my family. It makes me so happy. I'm so blessed to have a big family that does everything together! 

Please help those who feel lonely. Let them know You love them, and You're their Heavenly Father.

God, 

Thank you for the free will, autonomy, and the capacity to speak my mind. In a harsh world that judges, it's nice to know You won't turn Your back on me if I make a mistake. You won't force me into anything. You'll just guide and protect me during any decision. You love me, being my eccentric self.

Please help those who are afraid of being themselves because people tell them not to;  Help those who hide who they truly are, thinking that it'll disappoint You. Let them know that You accept and love them, no matter what. 

Also, help close-minded people open up and help them see they shouldn't hate or oppress anyone different.

God, 

Thank you for my health and my family's health. Thank you for giving us the ability to live life without sickness or pain. I know  I  tend to complain about my stomach issues, and that's a little selfish of me. It could be worse, and I thank you for Your help. I'm still learning to enjoy one moment at a time and accept each hardship as they come. 

Please help those who are sick, in pain, and desperately searching for answers. Give them strength and courage to get through it;  The same strength and courageousness that You and  Your son, Jesus, had when He was crucified unjustly.

For Lent, I'm going to try to type one thing I'm thankful for each day until Easter. 

God, 

Thank you for my family and friends; For blessing me with genuine people who are always there during happy and dark times. Thank you for blessing me with unconditional love and support. 

Please watch over those who are less fortunate; People who are separated from their loved ones right now or don't have anybody to turn to. Let them know they aren't alone. Embrace them with Your love and protection.
