Autism Speaks Walk 2016

Autism Speaks is an autism advocacy organization that sponsors autism research and conducts awareness and outreach activities aimed at families, governments, and the public. There will be an Autism Speaks walk tomorrow in Forrest Park in St. Louis, MO to raise money. My family and I will be participating in the walk to support my cousin Logan, who has autism. Think Tink Friday!

Happy Friday! It's the weekend. It's time for family, friends, positivity, and relaxation! I'll sleep in until noon and watch SVU for a couple of hours. Maybe read an Archie comic. I also can't wait to spend time with my niece, hog out on Taco Bell, and nurse on a pumpkin spice latte. I always find the joy in the little things. 

Yes, I made another Shane Dawson fan video on Youtube. You have my permission to laugh 😋 but who knows...he might see it and be so flattered that he'll want to meet me. 👍🏻 Far-fetched, a silly fantasy, I know, lol but I can dream! 💖😄

My dream:

 I had a dream last night that it was Christmas time. Mom dropped me off at the mall and I went shopping on my own. There was a huge, beautiful Christmas tree in the middle of the mall. Colorful lights twinkled, garland hung throughout the building, and soft, cheerful Christmas music played in the background. I walked around, shopped, and talked to random people, saying: "Merry Christmas!" It was nice. 🎄 I'm not rushing things, trust me. I'm excited for Halloween! 🎃 October is my month but that Christmas dream was calming for some odd reason.

Just a cool update...I got a B+ on my final essay for my online history class! I passed the class!!  I'm so proud of myself.
On the 10th, the poetry class will start.

A Personal Update. (And Is Youtube Really Censored? )

Personal Update: 

Hi Y'all, 

I've been doing homework all week, so since I'm 4 weeks ahead in my online class, I decided to make weekends my days off from homework. It pays to be an overachiever.  😉 During the weekends, I will blog, tweet, message, and of course, go out. I like my fun. 


Youtube: 

At first, when I read the "end of Youtube" hype on Twitter last night, I thought that Youtube was actually censoring videos and banning some due to the web site's new 'advertiser friendly' guidelines. Automatically getting on my soap box, I started reciting the First Amendment on Twitter. I have strong views on censorship (it's the writer in me lol) and I was saying that Youtube was stomping on an youtuber's amendment rights, but after some research this morning, I realized that this isn't exactly the case. I'll admit it, I was wrong. I'm sorry. My fandom got the best of me. The guidelines are for money/advertisements. If an youtuber violates the guidelines, the youtuber basically won't get paid or have an advertisement play before their video starts. This does suck for some youtubers and some of the guidelines are questionable but it's not the end of the world. Youtubers can still say and do anything that they want. They just have to be extra, extra creative to get around the guidelines and just face the fact that they won't get paid sometimes. If an youtuber really cared about their fans, they won't be up in arms about not getting paid every single time that their videos get viewed. Most popular youtubers (like Shane Dawson) sell merchandise and do other stuff, so they'll be fine.

Just Another Update

The ridiculous fan video that you see above was made by me. This is what happens on a Friday night at midnight and when one is hyped up on candy corn and coffee, but hey, it was fun.  I'm such a fan-girl. 🙂

Anyway, just fyi, one of my online classes starts Monday, August 29th. It's a history class. I'm excited. On September 10th, I'll start another (a poetry class). From then on, I'll be taking both classes at the same time, so if I don't blog or tweet a lot for a few months, don't worry. I'm alive, lol! I'll just be doing homework. I enjoy the online classes. They make me productive between writer's blocks and I love learning new things.

Schnucks Bans Solicitors

Shoppers entering Schnucks groceries will no longer see bubbly Girl Scouts hawking cookies or Salvation Army bell ringers seeking donations. All solicitors are being banned at Schnucks stores throughout the region, according to a new policy by the Maryland Heights-based chain that went into effect Monday. This is just sad. It's a Missouri tradition.

Internet Issues

First, my Outlook account acted possessed😱 but I got it working by restarting my laptop. 👌 Lol! Then, a complete stranger on my messenger asked me to strip on cam. I hit the block button so fast! 🙄 Why is it acceptable to be sexual online like that with someone that you don’t know? Just why? 

Do people ever watch SVU?! It doesn't end well for the victim or the sicko. 


Btw, Granny Annie, if you're reading this (and I know that you are), I'm not sad, or upset, or "reaching out for help". I'm sort of venting and embarrassing the creep for fun. 😛 🙈

Black Cat Appreciation Day!

There are many superstitions that surround cats but the most widespread myth is that for a black cat to cross a person’s path is an unlucky sign. Ironically, in the U.K., Australia, and some parts of North America, black cats are considered quite lucky. White cats are considered to be unlucky. These beliefs are just superstitions though. Cats are not evil. They're innocent animals. Be kind to them. Love all cats, no matter what color.
