The Queen's Torment
One night, the Demon Queen and her dark angel, Aden, grew bored with Peter’s ridiculous dancing and pan flute playing. To mess with the boy, she placed a curse on him.
In the midst of Peter playing, an abrupt pain shot through both of his hands and arms, making them go limp, and he dropped the flute. The strange pain and heaviness settled in his wrist joints. His hands then curled inward, the movement resembling a seal’s flipper.
Peter tried to flex his limbs back to their usual position, but he couldn’t. He could barely move his upper body. He tried to force his immobilized hands to pick up anything, but this only made things worse. At First, Peter was only annoyed by this. But as the minutes went by, he grew extremely frustrated, then terrified.
No matter what he did, his body wouldn’t obey him. He felt helpless. What if he couldn’t play his flute anymore? What if he couldn’t pick up a sword to defend himself now? His corrupted mind spiraled into a dizzying, horrific panic.
Meanwhile, the Demon Queen and Aden were cracking up, thoroughly amused by the cruelty of the moment. But they should’ve been paying more attention to their surroundings. While the Queen was torturing Peter, Captain Hook was now in the castle, his sword and iron hand raised and ready, inching closer and closer to Wendy, who stared into space.
Hook almost touched Wendy’s arm when the Queen finally noticed him. Quickly, she lifted the curse from Peter and transferred it onto Hook. The pain in his limbs stunned him, and the captain dropped his sword, falling onto his back. Peter was able to grab his dagger again and charged at him.
Both the Queen and Aden flew angrily across the room and hovered over Hook, who was desperately struggling against his own body on the floor.
“Oh, Captain,” she said with a grin, her voice oozing with venom, “You made a grave mistake.”
She placed her staff under his chin, forcing him to look at her, and said, “You thought you could trick us, huh? Pathetic pirate. Now, the question is—should I have dear Peter kill you, or should I keep you alive and continue torturing you?”
Hook just lay there; stiff and silent, the pain too overwhelming for him to speak.
Notes: This one was sort of therapeutic. I've been frustrated with my cerebral palsy this week. Poor Peter, poor Hook, hehe! 😈
